The Cost of Safety

This week we look at Acts 21:1-14

How do you define “safety?”

Where or when do you feel most “safe?”

Safety is a word that has many contextualized definitions and applications. We often hear the phrase “safety first.”  We invest in countless ways to create safety in our families and communities and the vast majority of those are loving good endeavors!

But what happens if our definition of safety is unhealthy or misapplied? What happens when the cost of safety is higher than the cost of the risk? What happens if “playing it safe” is actually rooted in mistrust of God?  What happens when we’re so fearful of “dying” that we never fully live?

Join us as we look at an agonizing point in Paul’s life where fear and faith are facing off. What will win out in his heart? And why? And how can that help us sift the raw emotion of daily life with Jesus?

Listen and find out!
