"Give Our Worries To God" | Phil. 4:4-9 | Frank Sung

Tim Parlier & Matt Carlson

This message reminds us that worry and anxiety are universal struggles across every season of life, but God invites us to live differently. Fear responds to real, present threats, while anxiety grows from uncertainty about the future. Through Scripture we learn that God deeply cares for us, knows our needs, and has given us everything we need in Christ. As we humble ourselves, rejoice in the Lord, pray with thanksgiving, and fix our thoughts on God’s truth, His peace guards our hearts and minds. True peace comes not from changed circumstances, but from trusting who God is and remembering who we are as His children.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

Where do you tend to live most often: past regrets, future worries, or the present moment with God, and why?

What worries are you most tempted to hold onto instead of “giving them to God,” and what makes them hard to release?

Which practice from Philippians 4 (rejoicing, praying with thanksgiving, or fixing your thoughts on truth) would most help you experience God’s peace right now?
