When life turns unfair—when you’re betrayed, falsely accused, overlooked, or stuck in circumstances you didn’t choose—it’s easy to grow bitter. In this message from Genesis 39, the story of Joseph invites us into a different response: boldness.
Even in slavery, temptation, and prison, Joseph clung to two unshakable truths—God was with him, and God had purpose in it. That didn’t make his life easier, but it made his faith deeper. What if your hardest season isn’t punishment, but preparation? What if instead of asking “Why is this happening?” you began asking “What now?”
Through storytelling and honest reflection on suffering, this sermon speaks to anyone facing disappointment, injustice, or waiting seasons.
